Sarah Lee

Sarah Lee joined the Southwest Center in July 2023 as an Educational Consultant and LETRS Facilitator.  Sarah began her career in education as a Title I Assistant in Webb City after student teaching and graduating from MSU in December 1996.  Sarah then taught Kindergarten in Joplin for one year before returning to Webb City.  Over the next 12 years she taught 4th grade, 3rd grade, and Title I Reading at Eugene Field Elementary while earning her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.  In 2010, Sarah became the principal at Webster Primary Center in Webb City where she joyfully served for 13 years until her retirement in June 2023.  During her principalship Sarah earned her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from SBU.  Her joy for teaching and learning led her to the Southwest Center where she can continue to have a positive impact on both teachers and students.
