Dr. Melissa Massey is the SWC Executive Director. She joined the SWC in 2012 as the Director of Professional Learning and was a school administrator prior to that. Melissa hopes when coming to the SWC you feel welcome and know we value your job as an educator. The SWC is always ready to help our districts any way possible and are always open to ideas of collaborative opportunities and professional learning to bring to our area. Melissa is a nationally certified Elite True Colors Facilitator and holds True Color certifications in Personal Success, Conflict Navigation, Team building, Communications, and Teaching and Learning Styles.

- She loves "glamping" and is always ready to take their RV on an outing.
- She enjoys farm life ... she and her husband raise beef cattle and enjoy riding around checking things on their farm!
- She and the love of her life, Lance, have 5 grandchildren, Berkley - Ellie - Briggs - Lyla & Florence. Anytime spent with those 5 perfect humans is time well spent!
