Dr. Kathy Tackett spent the last 31 years serving the students, staff, and communities of Joplin and Carl Junction schools as a high school business teacher, cheer coach, and central office administrator. She spent 16 years as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment and brings vast knowledge of professional learning, state assessment and accountability, and educational excellence in the classroom.
